MEN’S HEALTH & LOW TESTOSTERONE TREATMENT

  • Low testosterone (Low T) occurs when the body produces insufficient testosterone, leading to symptoms like fatigue, low libido, erectile dysfunction, muscle loss, and mood changes. It can affect men of all ages but is more common as men get older.

  • Symptoms of Low T include reduced energy, brain fog, loss of muscle mass, increased body fat, and changes in mood. A simple early morning blood test can confirm if your testosterone levels are low. If your level is low, we will repeat this lab to confirm the results, and rule out secondary causes prior to starting treatment.

  • BeWellBerlin offers customized Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), including:

    • Testosterone injections (weekly or biweekly)

    • Topical testosterone gels/creams (applied daily)

    • Clomiphene (Oral pill to increase production of natural testosterone)

MENTAL HEALTH & MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

  • I offer comprehensive mental health care, including medication management and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help patients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia, ADHD, and other mental health challenges. My approach is holistic, considering both physical and mental health factors to create a personalized treatment plan.

  • I have both personal and family experience with mental health challenges and ADHD, which has deeply influenced my commitment to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care in the primary care setting. Recognizing the barriers to seeing a psychiatrist, I have prioritized mental health treatment throughout my career.

Since 2017, I have been treating mental health conditions, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and Motivational Interviewing to support patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, and other behavioral health concerns.

Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Fellowship in Psychiatry & Behavioral Health in the primary care setting at UCI School of Medicine. This advanced training enhances my ability to integrate psychiatric care within primary care, ensuring a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to mental wellness.

  • No, I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with advanced training in mental health and behavioral health integration. I provide comprehensive mental health care, including medication management and counseling, to support patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health conditions.

While I can effectively manage most mental health concerns, there are cases that may require specialized psychiatric care. If a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner would be a better fit for your needs, I will help coordinate a referral to a higher level of care to ensure you receive the best possible support.
